Sarah's Story

Thanks to the SGP’s Farmer Business School, my days of howling lamentations about my unproductive cocoa farm business are long over. Joining the FBS was an eye opener to the poor management practices.

Patience's Story

Patience has completed her elementary school and she is now in senior high school.

Nana Kwabena Akwah and Mr. Obeng Asare

Nana Kwabena Akwa II is the leader of Kwabena Akwa, a community within the SMILE Ghana project. Mr. Obeng Asare is the principal of Kwabena Akwah Primary School. The school was founded in 1987 and two years later the school collapsed and was rebuilt in 2003.

Samadu's Story

Samadu Yakubu is a vulnerable child and a beneficiary of the Smile Ghana Project. His parents are migrants from the Upper East region of Ghana who live in the Oseikrom community and work as cocoa care takers.

Collins' Story

John, 14-year-old, moved to the Ahafo region of Ghana with his family in 2018, however rather than going to school he immediately began working in the cocoa fields.
