About Us

Who are we

Founded in 2000, the Child Research for Action and Development Agency (CRADA) is an NGO based in Kumasi-Ghana. CRADA envisions a just and democratic world where children are heard and potentials are developed to achieve a sustainable livelihood. CRADA provides a collaborative and coordinated response to promote and protect the rights of the child as enshrined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.CRADA Group works with local government agencies and their relevant departments, community-based organizations, the private sector, families, civil society organizations, non-governmental organizations and individuals, etc. to ensure that the ideals and principles of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child are upheld Become reality. It is among the few proactive organizations in Ghana working strenuously to translate their concerns for youth, women and especially children into practical activities to curb the many issues that hamper their development in the most disadvantaged rural and urban communities. An important part of our approach is the conscious involvement of the communities themselves in the response, design and implementation of projects. The CRADA Group thus responds to municipal initiatives and needs in the sense of helping people to help themselves.
